Senior Living Activities

It's fun to see the creativity in devising activities for senior living residents.  On a recent tour, I was eating lunch when an elderly resident approached with a bright smile talking about her afternoon activities.  The activity was something I never could have conceived of in a senior complex.  It was "Dancing with the Stars".  The residents were the stars, and the staff were the professionals, and she had selected a young man from the cooking staff to be her partner.  As her final piece of information, she informed us that the stars get to pick the music, and that her partner didn't know that the song she had picked was Michael Jackson's "Thriller"!  Sorry I missed the show.
