I am writing this letter on behalf of The Douglas Company. Ciena Healthcare Management has had the privilege of working with them, in a Design/Build capacity for the past four years on a number of construction projects throughout Michigan. We have found the Douglas Company to be trustworthy and of high integrity and always mindful of what is best for our residents and employees alike.

My company’s limited expertise regarding large scale construction projects was a big factor that went into our selection of The Douglas Company. Their ability to take our rough thoughts and quickly turn them into workable ideas and concepts that we could understand further cemented our relationship. They have always shared our passion for, “what is best for our residents and how can we make them feel more at home.” They have gone to great lengths to continually improve the design of buildings to allow residents more choices and freedoms as they move through their individual routines.

Together we have developed many new amenities for our residents, all while controlling cost and expediting the process. They have always taken time to help us understand the cost of specific things. In some cases, they have run a number of difference scenarios so that we could select what worked best for us.

In summary, our experience with The Douglas Company has been exceptional in every way possible. They have continually demonstrated commitment in pursuing the highest level of standards in our facilities.
