Subcontractor Bill of Rights
EVERY SUBCONTRACTOR HAS THE RIGHT TO:
1. Fair and equitable treatment.
2. Telephone calls returned within a 24-hour period.
3. Regular job progress meetings, with published meeting minutes.
4. An introduction to The Douglas Company's project team, including specific responsibilities; and notification of any changes during the project.
5. Updated schedules as needed.
6. A fair opportunity to contract work after turnover by estimating.
7. An executed change order prior to additional work
8. Notification of necessary corrective action prior to issuance of back charges.
9. Diligent collection of final retention by The Douglas Company.
10. Notification of changes or deficiencies in billings within a week of receipt.
