The Douglas Company Expands Florida Office to Support Continued Southeast Growth

Expansion will increase TDC Southeast’s office footprint by approximately 35 percent and provide additional space for continued team growth

Orlando, Florida –– September 29, 2026 –– The Douglas Company (TDC), a leading general contractor serving the senior living, multifamily and retail markets, has begun an expansion of its Florida office to accommodate the continued growth of its Southeast operations.

The 2,227-square-foot expansion will increase the Florida office from 6,411 rentable square feet to 8,638 rentable square feet, representing an approximately 35 percent increase in space. The expansion comes as TDC Southeast continues to grow its team and project volume throughout the region.

“We’ve simply outgrown our current space, which is a great problem to have,” said Jeremy Bartolovitch, Vice President of Southeast at The Douglas Company.  “This expansion addresses what our team needs today while also giving us the flexibility to continue growing in the future. We’re excited about what’s ahead for TDC Southeast and the opportunity to create a space that better supports our team.”

The expanded office will include eight additional private offices, providing capacity for approximately three to four additional project teams, as well as increased storage and workspace and an expanded copy room. The project will also include a larger kitchen with updated finishes and additional room for employees to gather and eat together. Beyond the current expansion, TDC has access to an additional 1,500 square feet of adjacent space, providing another opportunity to expand the Florida office as the Southeast operation continues to grow.

Construction is expected to take approximately 12 weeks to complete.
