The Douglas Company, General Contractor, is pleased to announce four key promotions within our Holland, Ohio office, a move that advances both our associates’ professional development and the organization’s growth.

In their new roles, these team members will strengthen the organizational structure and effectively allow our team to focus on client satisfaction while executing our long-term growth strategy. Justin VanAtta joined The Douglas Company in 2017 as an Assistant Project Manager and has since earned the position of Project Manager. In Justin’s new role, his responsibilities include managing the complete life cycle of a variety of projects and working closely with clients and internal associates to ensure projects are completed on time, on budget, and to our high-quality standards. He is also responsible for protecting and promoting the interest of the project and ensuring client satisfaction.

Mr. Kick began his first of three Co-ops with The Douglas Company in January of 2017 before joining the team full time in May of 2018 as a Project Coordinator and has since earned his new title of Assistant Project Manager.

Mr. Koch joined The Douglas Company as a Project Coordinator in August of 2017 and has since earned the Assistant Project Manager position.
In their new roles as Assistant Project Managers, Alex and Hunter will collaborate with the field staff to solve problems, manage subcontracts, create and maintain the project schedule, coordinate with project superintendents and project managers and manage project financials. Alex and Hunter will spend extensive time on-site working with subcontractors and inspectors, assisting the project superintendent in day-to-day construction activities.
Mr. Sokol joined The Douglas Company in 2017 during his final Co-op and was hired full time within the same year as an Estimating Coordinator and recently earned his promotion to Project Estimator. In Andrew’s new role, he will be involved with preconstruction aspects, including; project estimating, project purchasing, developing and updating the project schedules, material procurement, project billing, and closing out projects.
