TOLEDO, OH — August 14, 2026 — The Douglas Company is proud to announce the promotions of Andrew Barger to Chief Estimator and Amanda Keener to Project Estimator in its Toledo office. The promotions recognize the continued growth and contributions of two team members who have built their careers within the company.
Barger joined The Douglas Company in 2015 as an Estimating Coordinator and has steadily advanced through the preconstruction department, serving as Project Estimator and, most recently, Lead Estimator before his promotion to Chief Estimator.
Throughout his career, Barger has contributed to the estimating and preconstruction efforts for a variety of multifamily and senior living communities across the Midwest, as well as hotel, medical office, and retail projects. He has demonstrated his capabilities across all phases of the estimating process, from conceptual design budgets through firm construction bids.
Barger earned a Bachelor of Science in Construction Engineering Technology from The University of Toledo. He is a Certified Professional Estimator and a member of the American Society of Professional Estimators.
Keener’s career with The Douglas Company began in 2021 when she joined the company’s co-op program. She spent her first year gaining experience in operations before transitioning to preconstruction for the remainder of her rotations. Following graduation, she joined the company full time in 2024 as an Estimating Coordinator and has now been promoted to Project Estimator.
Keener earned a Bachelor of Science in Construction Engineering Technology from The University of Toledo. She is OSHA 10-Hour Construction Safety certified and a graduate of Dale Carnegie & Associates, Inc.’s Skills for Success program.

As Chief Estimator, Barger will also help lead the preconstruction department in the company’s Toledo office.
