Since joining the company in December 2022 as an Assistant Project Manager, Joe has been instrumental in the success of multiple projects, demonstrating outstanding leadership, technical expertise, and commitment to excellence.

Joe brings a strong educational and professional background to his new role. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management from the University of North Florida and gained international construction experience while playing professional rugby overseas. In addition to his impressive construction career, Joe represents Team USA in rugby and has competed in two Rugby World Cups, tallying 26 appearances with the national team.
As a key member of The Douglas Company, Joe was recently involved in the successful completion of Choreograph Gainesville, a luxury senior living community in Gainesville, Florida. In his new position as Project Manager, Joe will take on expanded responsibilities, including assisting with construction projects, involvement in the pre-construction process, estimating, obtaining permits, material procurement, scheduling, managing subcontractors and suppliers, and fostering strong client and subcontractor relationships. He will also oversee project documentation, coordinate daily operations with superintendents and project managers, and lead owner and architect meetings.
