Challenges & Solutions

With a difficult winter of 2014-2015, challenges included a very high water table, soil issues, and helical piles were needed to support the north wall foundations. Difficult inspections from the City of Dublin also created a challenge throughout the project. To add to the challenges, the project had unique features such as snozelen rooms and a memory garden. A high level of finishes and details proved to be challenging throughout the duration of the project. The team began the project with an accelerated schedule and The Douglas Company was able to overcome these challenges and complete the project.
